About This Activity

Rug Rats Soccer is designed specifically for children ages 18 months to 3.5 years old, and is designed to compliment our local Jupiter United Soccer club, and prepare children for entry into JUSC's Grass Hopper Program after they turn 3.5. This is a parent/child participation program, 30-40 minutes, Sunday afternoons, for 5 weeks sessions, and will be held several times through out the year. Groups are kept small, no more than 10 players and their parents for each meeting. Our program helps the child athlete develop stamina, balance, coordination, cooperation with others, socialization skills, and introduces young parents to youth sports. About the designers of Rug Rats Soccer: Coach Robert has a degree in Nursing and over 28 years in youth coaching, recreational and travel soccer, middle school and High School programs, he is the former President of The Jupiter United Soccer Club, and holds a Coaching F license, and is certified as a level 2 Goal Keeper trainer. He is a Co-Founder of Valor Sports. Coach Jenny (Roberts wife) is a public school teacher with a degree in early childhood education, she has spent her career teaching children preschool to second grade.
