About This Activity
Students will learn basic survival skills, craft the beginnings of their kit (a forged knife, pack basket, sandals, and basic bow are all potential crafts), and the basics of foraging from the land and living cohesively with the land. In this Fundamentals program, there will be more structure and an emphasis on learning to be in community. Students will begin to lay a foundation of independence, community living, and gatherer-hunter skills. After a year (or more!) with TAP Fundamentals, students will be encouraged to deepen their skills and knowledge through TAP!
