Wado Ki Kai Karate uses traditional and contemporary training styles, primarily Okinawa-Japanese based Karate. This Martial Arts incorporates traditional Kata's (forms), Korean Kicking techniques from Tae Kwon Do, flexibility and tumbling as in gymnastics and practical Self-Defense skills. Focusing on techniques rather than strength or size, students will improve self-esteem through the disciplines of practice, concentration, proper breathing and goall setting. All students will get the opportunity to test for their next rank and color belt at the end of each session. Each session is 10 weeks long. Instructors, with 2nd degree black belts, are Sensei Marla Lee & Sensei Anna Cohen.
