Every day is a new adventure! • Engage in a wide variety of activities while playing to learn in cooperative and collaborative ways. • Activities include art projects, group sports, and traditional and cooperative games. • Join us for fun-filled days of kite-flying, finger weaving, jump rope, board games, and more. Campers share a supervised lunch period at noon. Bring a sack lunch and a water bottle every day—and wear sunscreen, a hat, and athletic shoes. Tiva North teaches 2nd-grade at John Baker Elementary School. She has been a competitive year-round swim coach since 2007 for Charger Aquatics USA Swimming team at Albuquerque Academy. Ms. deVesty has a bachelor’s in elementary education from NMHU. Shanna Fejer teaches 1st grade at Georgia O’Keeffe, where she has taught 1st and 2nd grades and held various leadership positions (as Math Goal Team Leader, Grade Level Chair, and Instructional Council Chair) since 2007. A Tier III Certified teacher with a TESOL endorsement in New Mexico, Mrs. Fejer has taught multiple subjects to students in kindergarten through high school since 2002. She has a B.A. in general education and special education; she received a M.A. from UNM in elementary education with an emphasis in language arts, reading, and visual arts.
