NO CLASS FEBRUARY 13 (This class is designed for K-2nd grade students.) Watch these Animals on Parade as they bring a favorite animal story to life on the LTA big stage! Your child will work as busy as a bee exploring different types of animals by using their bodies, voices, and imaginations. Students will see the hard work and dedication it takes to put up a stage production and will learn how a play is put together. They will learn self- discipline, self-expression, how to work as an ensemble, and will gain awareness of themselves and others. Students will then use these new skills in a fun, silly production for family and friends in the Spring Showcase on April 1 and 2! Whether your child is as quiet as a mouse or roars like a lion, you'll be as proud as a peacock when you see your little "Animal" in Action Onstage! (Students must be available for early evening rehearsals and performances during the week of March 28.) INSTRUCTOR ASHLEY HAMMOND graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.F.A. in Acting. She toured professionally and taught children's theatre for many years, traveling all over the eastern part of the country. She also is the Managing Director for Educational Theatre Company.
