This class is designed for 3rd-5th grade students. Combine famous characters (and sometimes their songs!) with fun theatre games and improv activities, throw in some laughter and you end up with this fun class! We'll explore changing our voices and bodies to represent different characters from stories like the The Wizard of Oz, and A Christmas Carol (great practice for those interested in auditioning for the classic), poems by Edgar Allan Poe and more! Students will stretch their wings doing dramatic readings, and parents will be invited in for a presentation in November. INSTRUCTOR ROBERTA MASTER-CULLEN has been teaching children's classes and camps at the Little Theatre for nine years. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild specializing in radio and television voiceovers, and has been a television news anchor and reporter. Roberta teaches acting at Burgundy Farm Country Day School and in the Alexandria City schools program.
