NO CLASS JULY 4. This class is for those familiar with the essentials of improv (the "yes-and" principle, for example) who are ready to give it a go in front of an audience. Students will spend the first seven classes honing their scene-building skills, developing entertaining characters, and learning lots of improv games that strengthen listening, supporting, storytelling, and confidence. The final class will be a showcase for invited friends and family. INSTRUCTOR BIO: SARAH HOLT launched LTA's improv program back in 2001. She trained with The Groundlings in NYC and was an early cast member of Washington Improv Theater. Sarah performs regularly with The Crude Mechanicals (Shakespeare-prov) and LTA's house troupe, The Retrocessionists.
