How much do you know about our state insect? Learn all about fireflies - the fascinating insects that bring our summer evenings to life! Hike while the sun sets and watch as lightening bugs emerge. Learn how to identify them and help participate in some citizen science!
Hike will be about 1.5 miles and is rated easy-moderate difficulty with a long, steep hill climb. Adult must register and attend with children under 16. Dress well for outdoor weather. Bring a flashlight. Call for more information at 724-935-2170.
