Grades: K-5th. Ever wonder how the human brain makes decisions and expresses emotions? Use a cutting-edge NeuroRobot prototype (SpikerBot) that allows you to add and connect neurons into circuits (neural networks) that “define” the robot’s behavior. This is a unique, hands-on opportunity to get a mechanistic understanding of how your brain works, and why it is sometimes hard to make the right choices. Join us in this amazing experience learning how fear, wanting and self-control work together when making decisions in daily life. Get to know your own brain and become a Neuro Ninja! Instructor: Lucia Guerri, PhD. 6 classes. No class 2/13.
Online registration closes at 12 noon two days before the class begins. To register after online registration has closed (depending on class availability), please call 734-994-2300 ext. 0.
