About This Activity

Description

The Power of Drawing - Every class is a new lesson.

Grades K-5. Experience the colorful magic of fall in the Young Rembrandt's classroom! Kick off the season with a graphic iguana, a video game favorite Pixel Block Character and the geometrical world of architecture as students draw the Notre Dame Cathedral. Students immerse themselves in learning specific still life techniques and concepts drawing pumpkins, a detailed interpretation of a stylized Scarecrow and the creation of a graphic Patterned Bat. Finally, students study form and context as they express a visualization of a gingerbread house (good enough to eat!). There will be many more exciting lessons that develop and improve the foundational and critical thinking art skills that are part of the benefits of "The Power of Drawing!". Instructors: Young Rembrandts: Foundation of Creative Vision staff. 5 weeks. No class 11/24.
