2.5-5 years & Adult. Is your family ready to embrace the outdoors this winter with long-time First Steps teacher Andrea Nance? Trek through the woods (and hopefully some snow!) to observe, collect, and connect with nature. Participate in activities such as scavenger hunts, winter-based art and obstacle courses all while in the company of peers. Andrea shares tips and tricks for successfully spending time outside (especially during winter) with young children; she completed the 1,000 Hours Outside Challenge with her own family. The First Steps Early Childhood PTO can help to provide winter outerwear for families who need gear to participate (contact Susanna Brown at 734-994-4949). Instructor: Andrea Nance. 6 classes.
