Grades: Y5-2nd. Is your child an animal lover? Do they want to be a veterinarian when they grow up? Young animal enthusiasts interested in learning about veterinary science and animal care will receive a hands-on introduction to the world of animal welfare and veterinary medicine, including learning the basics of a veterinary check-up, understanding animal body language, and the responsibilities of caring for different types of animals. Through engaging activities and play, participants will develop a deeper understanding of what it takes to keep animals safe, happy, and healthy. Instructor: Humane Society of Huron Valley Staff. 6 classes. No class 2/17.
