About This Activity
Description
Ages 9 - 11. Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore! In this week of camp, campers will become "Junior Storm Chasers" as we take a look at tornados, earthquakes, lightning and all other kinds of crazy weather phenomena. We will learn about different tools that scientists use to measure wild weather and natural disasters, and then make miniature versions of these tools! We then use science to actually experience miniature versions of the disasters themselves! This week's camp will be held at the Freeman Environmental Education Center on Dixboro Lane, where we can tie in our natural sciences with the natural world! Instructors: Nutty Science Staff. Monday - Friday.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure your child's Rec & Ed Account is up to date!
