Description
Grades K-5th. Have you ever associated STEM with sports? This unique program combines strategic STEM-based activities with traditional Skyhawks basketball instruction, while cultivating life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. The STEM Sports® basketball curriculum educates players on several subjects including velocity and acceleration, basketball shoe design, tracking with technology, and much more! Players also learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense through skill-based drills and scrimmages. By the end of the program, any questions about how STEM and sports go together will be answered. Instructor: Skyhawks Sports Academy staff. 6 classes.
