About This Activity
Description
Experience the speed, skill, agility and action of the gridiron without the contact associated with tackle football. This co-ed program will feature one 45-minute practice during the week followed by one 45-minute game on Saturday mornings. The goal of this program is to develop the skill of our young athletes while also exposing them to sportsmanship, teamwork and healthy lifestyles that so important to local youth; all while having fun. Each child receives their own Antioch Youth Sports Flag Football Jersey. Volunteer coaches receive a 50% discount from their child's registration fee. Deadline to register 7/29
Mandatory Evaluations 8/10
Practice/scrimmage day 8/17
Games take place 8/26-9/28 (NO program on 9/2, NO Games on Labor Day Weekend)
Mandatory Evaluation schedule on Saturday 8/10 at the ACP:
-3rd/4th grade 8:30 AM-9:45 AM
-5th/6th grade 10:00 AM-11:15 AM
-7th/8th grade 11:30 AM-12:45 PM
Refunds/Transfers
The City of Antioch will be happy to arrange a transfer to another class/activity or arrange a refund. Customer requested refunds or transfers will be approved only if initiated by phone or in person NO LATER THAN 5
business days prior to the first day of class. No refunds issued after class has started. All refunds are subject to a $7 service charge per activity unless class/activity is cancelled by the City of Antioch Recreation Department. Refunds take up to 3-6 weeks to receive in the mail.
Cancellations
The City has the right to cancel classes when enrollments have not reached their minimum. Please register early and help us to prevent class cancellations.
Fee for Late Pick-up
Parents agree to pick up their children by or before the scheduled release time. A late fee of $5 per 5-minute interval PER CHILD will be charged. Late fees are payable to the City of Antioch.
