Instructions and class activities will be conducted primarily in Spanish, with emphasis on oral language development. Children with minimal prior exposure to Spanish will acquire basic communication skills and general vocabulary pertaining to the topics presented. Children will learn Spanish songs, rhymes, and games. They will also listen to Spanish traditional stories, and learn Spanish arts and crafts. Parents are expected to leave the classroom while the session is in progress. They are welcome to wait in our lounge room or just leave and come back.
