YOUTH DRAWING FOR THE YOUNG NATURALIST / Christy KnightSaturdays from 1 - 3 PM

Class Fee: $235
Join an award-winning naturalist illustrator who is also a fully trained environmental educator in the field and studio. Venturing out from time at the art table, we will explore the surrounding Chastain Park Northwoods trails in winter and learn to draw and paint naturalist subjects such as trees, plants, birds and wetland wildlife.
Supplies: 25 sheet pad of Bristol SMOOTH paper 100 lb. in 9 x 12” or 11 x 14”, all other materials are provided.

REFUND POLICY: To receive a refund, students must submit their request at least 2 weeks before the first class. No refunds or transfers are guaranteed after this time. To withdraw from a class, you are required to email ChastainArts@AtlantaGA.gov and include your name, the class name, and your reason for withdrawal. The option to accept an account credit for the class withdrawal is preferred. If a withdrawal/refund is requested after 2 weeks prior to or after the class has begun, a $30 administration fee will be deducted and only an account credit will be processed to be used for future class registrations, clay purchases, and future purchases in our gift shop & gallery. If a class has begun at minimum enrollment, we cannot process refunds or credits after the first class has already started. If you register for a class after the session has begun, only an account credit will be processed if a withdrawal is requested. Anyone registered for a figure class with a model will be required to pay the model fee on the first day of class with cash or check to the instructor. Even if you request a withdrawal after the first day of class, you will be required to pay the model fee calculated based on enrollment on the first-class meeting. The Chastain Arts Center is not responsible for classes missed due to student absences. Please discuss any unavoidable absences with your instructor.
