Fun creative elements such as stories, songs, games, and other imaginative activities will keep the pace of the class lively and engaging. Junior Lego Team Instructor: Anne Riede Time: 4:00-5:15 Students will participate as a part of a 3‐5 member team using LEGOs. Modeled after the Junior FIRST LEGO League, this is a child-centered program that provides students with an exciting and fun team experience to research, design and build using LEGOs. They will practice teamwork, problem‐solving and gracious professionalism, while working with the theme: Creature Craze. Swing like a monkey, fly like a bat, or hop like a frog into the Creature Craze season. Whether in zoos, on the farm, or in your own backyard, we all encounter animals in our lives. Students will dive into the wonders of the animal kingdom. What will we learn about our furry, feathered, and finned friends in this non‐competitive program that builds self‐confidence and self‐esteem, while teaching students to work in teams to solve problems.
