STARFISH: Advanced Beginner 2
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: To build endurance and continue development of skills mastered in Ray level. To explore water polo and synchronized swimming skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS TO PARTICIPATE: Can swim on their front with face in the water while taking occasional breaths for 20 feet (approximately the width of 3 lap lanes) without floatation or assistance. Can swim on their back and on their side for 20 feet without floatation or assistance. Is comfortable jumping into deep water and swimming up from the bottom.
