Bentonville Parks & Recreation bring you a comprehensive tennis program at our 12 court tennis facility at Memorial Park and our 2 courts at Wildwood Park. Programs such as Youth and Adult Drills, Adult Cardio Tennis, Adult Team Tennis, Youth and Adult Private Lessons, Adult Leagues, and Youth Tennis Camps are all offered. Tennis programs are available for ages 5 and Up.
BPR Black - Ages 10-18 - Advanced tournament players (most often players traveling across the state, South, and/or country for tournaments).
For our tournament-level players looking for higher level drills, we do offer programming through our BPR Academy. This stands for Bentonville Parks and Recreation Academy. These drills focus on high level player development with more emphasis on advanced technique, committment, fitness accountability, and self discipline. There is a selection process for these classes, and all entrants will be based on coaches discretion. All registrants must pass a coaches evaluation prior to registering for this program. To register or find out more information on fees and the program, visit www.playbentonville.com.
Participants in this program may only qualify for and enroll in the Wednesday drill if they're registered full-time (in at least 5 drills per week) with their fifth drill being the Wednesday drill.
BPR Orange Crush - Ages 7-10-Use orange (50% compression) balls on a 60' court. We look for them to be able to hit 100 consecutive balls from the 60' baseline and execute topspin. Move to White or Black by coaches' decision, or Green by turning age 11.
Private lessons are for any player or players that would like individual or special instruction. These lessons will be set up directly through our Bentonville Parks & Recreation Tennis Pros. Cost - Private: $45/hr for 1 person; Semi-private: $25 each/hr for 2 people; Group-privates: $15 each/hr for 3 or more people.
