Flying Fish are able to swim, with good form, the crawl stroke, breaststroke, sidestroke, back crawl and elementary backstroke for 50 yeards (two lengths of the pool). Swim 25 yards of butterfly with fins. Float for six minutes; tread water for three minutes using a combination of kicks (including the rotary or eggbeater kick). Demonstrate ability to use mask and fins. Students are placed into class based on their ability to consistently demonstrate the required skills. Since our program is progressive, students will be placed into the appropriate level each session.
