Description
This is a tentative activity. Registrations will be accepted if it becomes official.
Learn to act with Ben Stasny!In this 8-week course, students will build skills in stage presence, collaboration, improv, scene study, and memorization. The first half of each class will include warm-ups and acting activities. The second half will be focused on scene study and collaboration.
Students will be assigned a scene and partner(s) and will work over the course of 8 weeks to direct, stage, and perform it for an audience and the rest of the class.
The culminating performance will be a staged version of their scenes, including basic costumes and props with a focus on demonstrating the great acting skills students have built throughout the class.
Ages: 14-20
Class Dates: Wednesday, March 5 - Wednesday, May 14 (No class March 26, May 7, and one April class TBD)
Class Time: 5:30-7:30pm.
Class Location: Boulder Piano Gallery
Final performance: May 19, 7:30pm
