For over 50 years, Roaring Brook Camp has specialized in providing instruction in outdoor sports and outdoor skills and, Vermont crafts as an American Camp Association accredited camp. A 650-acre forest preserve with 15 acre private lake provides a pristine setting for boys wanting a fun and exciting camp experience. Activities include: rock climbing, rappelling, ropes course, tyrolean traverse, bouldering, slacklining, survival training, orienteering, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, fly-tying, woodworking, leatherwork, blacksmithing, archery, marksmanship, fitness, timber sports, nature, first aid and rescue. There are several special event days including day trips, Orienteering Day, the Triathlon and beach cookouts. All counselors are 21+, average age 25, with a camper/counselor ratio of 3:1. All counselors receive background checks, first aid and safety training.
