Learn to build up basic physical fitness and flexibility with dance and mini stunts. Give your kids self-confidence, rhythm practice and body timing in a team building atmosphere. No tumbling or experience required. Due to safety concerns, no tumbling will be practiced during the class. This is a great class for kids to learn to work together, have fun and learn how to control their bodies while having FUN - all in a supportive environment staffed by a long-time cheerleading instructor! About the Instructor: Michiko began her cheerleading career in university in Kyoto Japan, where her team participated in many cheerleading competitions. In 2002, she began teaching cheerleading to both children and part-time adults on a weekly basis. She is an experienced choreographer, musical editor. Her teams have been featured in countless festivals, competitions and fundraisers. For Go CHEER classes Michiko will focus on not just having fun, but encouraging students to raise up their body awareness, their team spirit and their individual goals for success.
