Class Objectives: -Cultivate basic cooking skills. -Instruct children in foundational culinary skills such as measuring, mixing, chopping with suitable utensils, and preparing uncomplicated recipes. -Promote Kitchen Safety and Hygiene -Encourage appreciation of healthy ingredients. -Foster interest in varied tastes and textures Sample Class Activities: -Fruit and Vegetable Exploration: Children learn to identify, peel, chop, and taste a rainbow of fresh produce, discussing colors, shapes, and nutritional benefits. -Baking Basics: Measuring, mixing, and baking simple treats such as muffins, cookies, or bread. -Preparing a dish from another country—like Mexican quesadillas, Italian pasta, and Native American fry bread—to celebrate diversity and new flavors
