About This Activity
Description
Designed to build on competitive swimming skills, this seasonal swim team focuses on improving technique, endurance, and speed. Time trials serve as a competitive measure. There will be no dual meets. Participants learn lane etiquette, pace clock aids, and additional skills needed to be member on a swim team. It’s a great way to meet new friends, keep kids active, and introduce them to a swim team experience.
Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim one lap of freestyle and one lap of backstroke without stopping.
We encourage everyone to arrive 5-10 minutes early each day for attendance and stretching. Please be sure to bring water, a towel and a good pair of goggles.
