About This Activity
Each Y.E.S. Wayfinders group (maximum 12 students) will meet roughly every other Monday (with a break in December/January), plus one overnight trip (two days, one night each, meals included) over the 2025-2026 school year (SEE WEBSITE FOR SPECIFIC DATES). Your child will receive age-appropriate skills instruction in canoeing (flatwater up to Class II whitewater), rock climbing (bouldering, top-roping, rappelling, and more as ability allows), hiking, land stewardship, and more. Our adventures will provide challenging opportunities to further develop outdoor decision-making, risk management, teamwork, and leadership skills in a group of peers that are empowered to solve problems together. Activities take place at a huge variety of locations around Chattanooga, with transportation provided via 15-passenger van from the rendezvous location. All sport-specific gear and reading materials will be provided.
