About This Activity
After Care starts every day at 3:00 pm. Once the regular school day is over, registered students meet with other students of their age group in their designated classrooms. Preschool students are brought to one of the preschool classrooms where they start the afternoon with their routine of settling down and having a snack. The rest of the students move into their aftercare rooms or proceed to their extracurricular activities. Students have a snack first. When indoors, the afterschool team supervises a range of activities such as story time, games, crafts, reading or free play. Weather permitting, during fall and spring, students spend as much time as possible outdoors on the playground. The first session of After Care ends at 4:30 pm with a pick-up window of 4:20 pm to 4:30 pm at the latest.
