PLAYERS SHOULD BE IN THE 12TH GRADE IN FALL 2025 FOR THIS LEAGUE. Registration availability in all leagues is limited based on the number of staff/volunteers that are available and facility space. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis, and will close at the deadline or when divisions are full- whichever comes first.9th-12th Grade Basketball League
This league is perfect for high schoolers who love the game of basketball. CARD coaches will conduct practice once per week with games once a week. This will be a competitive league with all participants receiving playing time. A reversible jersey with a number is included in the registration cost.*UPDATE!* The high school league is running from end of October through December. Make sure to register early to guarantee your spot on a team!

UPDATES: Players will be emailed their team information (from an @chicorec.gov address) by the Friday before the first week of practices.
PRACTICES: Practices day and time are dependent on the coach and gym availability. Teams will have one 1.5-hour practice per week on non-game days. No practices the week of 11/24-11/28.• 9th-12th Grade: Practices start the week of October 27.
GAMES: Starting the week of 11/3, games on Wednesdays and/or Fridays, starting between 4-9:30 pm based on the number of teams in the league (6-game guarantee per team, with the 6th game starting a single elimination end-of-season tournament). Each game is approximately one hour long. All game days are tentative and are subject to change. No games the week of 11/24-11/28.
UNIFORMS: Cost of a reversible jersey is included in registration. Coaches: Coaches in the 9th-12th grade leagues will be CARD paid staff.

SPECIAL REQUESTS: One buddy request can be made during the registration process. Please read the buddy request process (found at: www.chicorec.gov/youth-sports-general-information) closely to ensure it is valid.

- Buddies must request each other to be valid.
- Coach or practice time requests are not accepted.
- Skills Evaluations: CARD will contact participants for a mandatory skills evaluation if needed. Skills evaluations will not be necessary for all schools.
Players should register for the grade they will be in Fall 2025. This division is for participants that will be in the 12TH GRADE in Fall 2025.
