About This Activity
Do you have a future veterinarian in the making? In this enrichment program, kids will learn how to perform a nose-to-tail exam, learn about the foods cats cannot eat and practice making kitty treats, how to suture lacerations cats can get from accidents or surgery, learn what ticks are and how to safely remove them, create "medicine" to give their plushie patients in the form of immunizations, explore the roles of different team members in a veterinary clinic, and more. They will receive their own plushie patient and white coats to take on the role of a veterinarian. We celebrate with an informal graduation ceremony at the end of the program where kids will receive a personalized Little Medical School diploma!
