About This Activity

Description

We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, March 4, 2015.

Purring Pottery of Colchester is offering this one day 2.5 hour class as a beginners only adventure through the basic shapes on a potters wheel, bowls and cylinders. Students will learn the process of wedging, the core of each pot, centering clay and shaping. Once pieces are finished, students will choose from a wide selection of colorful glazes. We trim and glaze for you!! At a special introductory rate, this fun-filled class is a great opportunity for those who have always wanted to try throwing on a wheel without the commitment.
