About This Activity
Description
The league is designed to introduce youth to the game of basketball. It was created to provide a safe, fun environment to learn the game through practices, teaching the fundamental basketball skills, sport ethics, and league competition. A team will consist of 7-10 players. Teams will practice for one hour a week. The league will have eight weeks of regular season games, played on Saturdays, followed by a single elimination tournament. Players will receive a jersey. Team t-shirts are available at registration for $15 each. No games or practices Dec. 22-27 and Dec. 31-Jan. 3.Coaches must contact the Parks and Recreation Department to provide their team information, book a practice time, and set up a team code. The team code is required for registration.
Ages: 8u, 10u, 12u (age based off Sep. 1, 2025)
Team Registration: Oct. 13-Nov. 7
Team Fee: $90/player (Early Registration: $80/player by Oct. 17 at 5:00 p.m.)
Free Agent Registration: Oct. 13-31
Free Agent Fee: $90/player

Location: Recreation Center
Do not forget to bring water and please bring any ankle braces or basketball shoes if needed!
