Learn to Skate for ages 2 1/2 to 6.
Icekateers is a brand new four week introduction to skating program designed specifically for Day Care groups. This play-filled program introduces children to the ice in a safe and creative environment. Professional instructors help our youngest skaters develop coordination and the strength necessary to maneuver on the ice with confidence. Each lesson ends with stickers. Lessons are 30 minutes long and Icekateers can stay for scheduled matinee skate sessions following lessons to practice what they?ve learned. Day care providers may be asked to assist instructors during lessons and are asked to supervise their group if skating during matinee skate sessions. Skate rental is included in the registration fee and Day Care providers skate for free.
Lesson/Activity Day: Wednesday
Lesson/Activity Dates: October 19, 26 November 2, 9.
Please plan to arrive at Sertich at least ten-minutes before your first lesson. This will allow sufficient time to select and lace your skates. Skate boots should provide a snug fit. Your foot should not move around inside the boot. Feet will feel best in lightweight socks or tights. Clothing such as sweats or warm-ups are ideal. Remember to bring gloves. Helmets are encouraged. Please contact Pam: (719) 385-6009 or email@example.com with any questions. Your instructor will meet you at rink level under the activity level banner for which you are registered when lessons begin. Refer to the First Day of Skating hand-out for important, additional lesson information.
In case of inclement weather, please check the city?s website at coloradosprings.gov for any activity delays, cancellations or facility closures.
If you need an accommodation to participate, please contact Pam: (719) 385-6009 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
