An ideal environment for children to explore their creativity while learning the craft of ceramics.
Kids can experiment with a variety of hand building and wheel throwing techniques while they
are given the freedom to envision and execute their own ideas Please wear old clothes.
A $15 supply fee(cash only please) is due to instructor the first day of class.
1) Each fee will include a weighted amount of clay(approximately 6 lbs per session). If you would like more than the weighted amount, you must pay the class fee again for more clay. This fee includes not only the cost of clay, but the cost of glaze used on these projects, needed tools and extra help for large classes.
PLEASE NOTE: When class fees are not paid, the instructor is paying for your students? supplies out of his/her own money.
2) Projects must be picked up within two weeks of the last class. After that time the projects will be thrown or given away. We will no longer store or save projects.
This new policy is an effort to keep waste to a minimum and to help the instructors and staff at Whetstone better manage the ceramics program.
