About This Activity
Description
Dancers will learn and explore 3 different styles of dance; Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz in this 8 week session. Classes will focus of coordination, flexibility, choreographic stamina and focus on the basics of ballet including proper placement, posture & body positions. Dancers will engage in warm-ups, across the floor progressions, and choreography combinations with a focus on increasing flexibility and strength as well as expressing personal style. In addition to traditional dance class elements, dancers will be exposed to body mobility, floor work, center technique, musicality and body alignment through movement
