About This Activity
Description
Our Track and Field course provides student athletes with structured training and skilled development in track and field. Athletes will learn sprinting, middle- and long-distance running, hurdles, relays, jumps, and throws.
While improving individual performance, knowledge and technique, participants will develop as overall athletes, strength and endurance, promoting wellness. Guided workouts, and drills will also teach proper warm up and cool down techniques, injury prevention strategies and goal progress tracking.
Principles that will be taught include sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline.
