About This Activity

Learn how to take recycled cardboard from scrap to finished product, including plans for a night stand, bookcase, and small box of drawers. Includes types of materials, how to prep, where to buy fresh cardboard, aspects of design, and structural design elements. All students will complete at least one piece of furniture. This class is prerequisite for more advanced construction classes. Parents who want to participate alongside their child will not be charged. Class fee includes material and instruction for all 5 sessions, Monday through Friday, noon-3pm. Students may miss a session, if desired, but no refunds will be issued for partial attendance. This session will run if four participants register, and registration closes 6/12/2014 to allow for material prep. Register early for discounted pricing!
