School Aged Swimming Lessons
Class for school aged children 6 to 17 years of age Learn to Swim classes.
Our learn to swim program offers six progressive levels of instruction. Starting with an introduction to water skills and advancing to swimming and skill proficiency.
Level 1 - Introduction to Water Skills (Red)
Level 2 - Fundamental Aquatic Skills (Orange)
Level 3 - Stroke Development (Yellow)
Level 4 - Stroke Improvement (Green)
Level 5 - Stroke Refinement (Blue)
Level 6 - Swimming & Skill Proficiency (Personal Water Safety, Fundamentals of Diving, Fitness Swimmer) (Violet)
As part of a City & Department Review of pricing, we will be increasing fees for programs beginning after January 1, 2015. Swimming Lessons will now be $40 per session. Thank you for your continued patronage.
PLAY sponsorship is available to help cover $20 in fees for those that can demonstrate need by producing: Copy of your Medicaid/Caresource/Molina health card ORCopy of your ADC cardPLAY can only be used for one program per seasonal session -- at All Rec Centers. Registrants wishing to use PLAY must come to the Aquatics Center during normal business hours, 9am to 5pm, in order to complete registration.
