About This Activity
Description
Women are strong, especially in a First Responder career. Teenage girls discover what it takes to be a Police Officer, a Fire Fighter, and an EMT. Learn basic job skills and rescue techniques, then put everything into practice in an emergency scenario simulation. Program is led by the female first responders of the Commerce City Police Department, South Adams County Fire Department, and EMS.Please note: we will be traveling off site on the last day to multiple fire stations. Transportation provided by first responders.
Come experience this hands on program where you will learn what it is like to become a first responder working with Commerce City Police Department and South Adams County Fire Department.
