Description
“Find the funny” in this class! In this deep dive into the world of comedy and improv, students will practice the science of comedy while developing performance skills like characterization, concentration, and collaboration. Best for students with any level of theatre experience who are willing to get silly onstage.Comedy & Improv: Kids features a new curriculum each semester. Students are welcome to repeat the class.
This semester-long program includes 14 weekly class sessions. The last day to join this class during the Spring is Saturday, February 7
A final Spring Showcase performance will be held on the CCPA stage on Friday, April 24, 2026! Two mandatory rehearsals for the Showcase will be held on Wednesday, April 22 and Thursday, April 23, times TBD.

Price includes a $25 non-refundable registration fee.
Registration prices for Coralville Parks & Recreation programs (including Young Footliters) are subsidized for City of Coralville residents. All others will see a "non-resident fee" which reflects the full cost of the program.
