About This Activity
Description
Whether your student prefers to be the hero or villain of the story, take center stage in this acting class! Students will explore famous heroes and villains (and create their own!) to develop fundamental acting performance skills. Your student will practice collaborating with peers while learning fundamental acting skills including projection, concentration, and characterization. Best for students who want to develop fundamental acting skills.This school-year-long program includes 14 weekly class sessions. Students are welcome to join during the Spring Semester if space is available. The last day to join this class during the Spring is Saturday, February 7.
A final Spring Showcase performance will be held on the CCPA stage on Friday, April 24, 2026! Two mandatory rehearsals for the Showcase will be held on Wednesday, April 22 and Thursday, April 23, times TBD.

Price includes a $25 non-refundable registration fee.
Registration prices for Coralville Parks & Recreation programs (including Young Footliters) are subsidized for City of Coralville residents. All others will see a "non-resident fee" which reflects the full cost of the program.
