Description
Step into the spotlight! In this class, students will act, sing, and dance in small group and ensemble songs from a variety of musicals. Students will learn proper dance and vocal technique and apply that technique to tell a compelling story onstage. Best for students with some prior musical theatre experience who want to strengthen their performance skills.Musical Theatre features a new curriculum each semester. Students are welcome to repeat the class.
This school-year-long program includes 14 weekly class sessions. Students are welcome to join during the Spring Semester if space is available. The last day to join this class during the Spring is Saturday, February 7.
A final Spring Showcase performance will be held on the CCPA stage on Friday, April 24, 2026! Two mandatory rehearsals for the Showcase will be held on Monday, April 20 and Thursday, April 23, times TBD.

Price includes a $25 non-refundable registration fee.
Registration prices for Coralville Parks & Recreation programs (including Young Footliters) are subsidized for City of Coralville residents. All others will see a "non-resident fee" which reflects the full cost of the program.
