Description
All the world’s a Broadway stage! In this high-energy class, teen students will sing, act, and dance in songs and scenes from a variety of musicals. Students will learn proper dance and vocal technique and apply that technique to tell a compelling story through song. Best for students with some prior musical theatre experience who want to strengthen their performance skills.Musical Theatre features a new curriculum each semester. Students are welcome to repeat the class.
This semester-long program includes 14 weekly class sessions. The last day to join this class during the Spring is Saturday, February 7.
A final Spring Showcase performance will be held on the CCPA stage on Friday, April 24, 2026! Two mandatory rehearsals for the Showcase will be held on Monday, April 20 and Thursday, April 23, times TBD.

Price includes a $25 non-refundable registration fee.
Registration prices for Coralville Parks & Recreation programs (including Young Footliters) are subsidized for City of Coralville residents. All others will see a "non-resident fee" which reflects the full cost of the program.
