Safely babysit with confidence and make some money on the side. Provides youth, ages 11-15, who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid.
Participants receive a reference handbook and certification card upon class completion.
This training has been reviewed and supported by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Girl Scouts of the U.S.A., Boy Scouts of America, YMCA of the U.S.A., Boys and Girls Clubs, JCC Association, and 4-H.
