About This Activity
Description
Dive into a refreshing fitness experience with our Aqua Aerobics classes! This low-impact, high-energy workout takes place in shallow water, making it suitable for participants of all fitness levels. These 40-minute classes are designed to provide full-body workouts to help build strength, improve cardiovascular health, and increase flexibility- all while avoiding strain on the bones and joints!
Aqua Aerobics classes meet for 4 weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 6:20 PM or on Saturdays at 9:20 AM.
All levels of fitness welcome. Ages 16+
Class ratio is 20:1.
Notes:
- Participants exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, or have been advised by a physician that they are COVID-19 positive, should not participate in swim lessons. Please contact the Downtown Aquatic Center to cancel your swim lessons.
- Appropriate swimsuit must be worn during class; no street clothes, undergarments, or sportswear allowed.
- It is recommended that long hair be pulled back with a hair tie.
- Application of sunscreen 20 minutes prior to class is highly recommended.
A $10.00 transfer fee will apply to change levels, class times, or sessions. A $20.00 cancellation fee will apply to any refund. The $5.00 administrative fee is non-refundable. No prorated refunds.
