Description
Join Virginia All-State and All-American cheerleader, Summer Koontz for the Pom Poms Competition Cheerleading Fundamentals Clinic! The clinic is designed for those both with and without cheer experience and will aim to build upon and expand the fundamental skills and interests in the principles of competition/showcase cheerleading.
***These clinics will prepare participants interested in registering for the Culpeper County Parks & Recreation Performance Cheerleading Team beginning in October 2025.
About the clinic: The clinic will include learning a short competition/showcase routine that incorporates tumbling, jumping, stunting, and dancing along with competition/showcase music. The primary mission of this developmental program is to promote the expression of competition/showcase cheerleading to school aged participants and practice positive sportsmanship, teamwork, communication, and many technical cheerleading skills.
All practices will take place at the Culpeper County Fieldhouse on Monday evenings from 5:30pm-6:30pm.
Please wear tennis shoes and bring a water bottle. Pom poms will be provided.
