Earthworms seeping deep into the soil down below, bread bought from the local bakery, shiners collected at a nearby bait shop: they’re all excellent bait for catching fish! The IGFA identifies natural bait as anything that is living or was once living, and oftentimes natural bait is the best kind of tactic to attract a fish into biting as they mistake it for their typical daily meal. Campers will learn about what kinds of natural baits are useful for attracting different species of fishes, each with a palate that differs from the other.
