Description
The Preschool Aquatics Program offers an opportunity for children ages 3-5 to dive into the world of swimming and water safety. Our program is designed to help your child become a confident swimmer while having fun in the sun. Parents do not need to participate - our experienced instructors will guide your little one in a group setting with a 1:4 instructor-to-child ratio. Our water safety dock provides a secure environment for your child to learn and explore, with a railing around them for added safety. It is common for most children to repeat these classes to achieve the necessary level of comfort and confidence.Level B is for children who have completed Level A or have demonstrated competency in the culminating skill assessment of Level A
Classes are held Monday through Thursday for two weeks, and your child may need to move to an earlier or later class time if necessary. Don't worry if a class is at capacity - add your child to the waitlist, and we'll do everything possible to accommodate more participants.
Graduate from this level, your child must complete all skills outlined in their Lesson Certificate and demonstrate the culminating skill assessment, which includes Swim 5 feet without support on front and back, Float on back for 15 seconds without support, Front float for 5 seconds roll to back float for 5 additional seconds.
