Our Dragonfly Teen Naturalists program, for ages 13-17, is back with an expanded schedule! This program supports teens as they navigate the journey from childhood to adulthood, and provides space for them to envision where they are going during this time of transition. Our hope for the teens in Dragonfly Teen Naturalists is for them to establish a strong connection to nature and to cultivate a sense of resilience, confidence, and passion for this phase in their lives. We will meet twice a month from September through November, once a month from December through February, and twice a month from March through May, culminating in an overnight camping trip approximately an hour's drive from Davis. Activities will include: -naturalist and earth living skills -nature connection routines -mindfulness practices -team building -small group sharing circles -nature journaling with prompts -music -cooking over the fire -games -hiking and exploring -swimming and rafting -animal tracking Specific dates: September 7th & 21st October 5th & 19th November 2nd & 16th December 14th January 11th February 8th March 8th & 22nd April 5th & 19th May 3rd & 17th-18th for the Camping Trip. ----- If your family identifies as Black and/or Indigenous to North America, please use coupon code REPARATIONS for our Reparations-based discount, regardless of financial need.
