About This Activity
Our Chess Club welcomes both beginners and experienced players! Students new to chess will learn the rules of the game, the geometry of the chessboard, and how to checkmate. More advanced players will dive into strategy, tactics, and solving chess problems, with opportunities to prepare for tournament-style play. All students receive a chess book of their choice and plenty of time to play against peers and the teacher.
